Great find Charlie! So, it wasn't enough to find the first record of BTGU in Washington State ... you had to go and find the third as well?

I've been asked for more explicit directions to the Black_Tailed Gull Site on Marine View Drive.
Here it is on Google Maps ...
Follow the Link, and make sure to click on Search Maps to invoke it correctly.
There is a small turnout here, just NW of a house, SE of the Tyee Marina.
Just offshore is a raft of logs.? The Gull was roosting on these logs. Scope required.
When originallly spotted by Charlie, it was actively feeding in the channel to the SW.
Afternoon light will be tough, if the clouds burn off. Glare is ferocious until later in the evening ...
