This morning, 3 Sandhill cranes flew low over Graysmarsh, across Port
Williams Rd., and seemed to wish to alight in the corn stubble on the
Smith's farm, but there were goose hunters and decoys in the field,
and they kept going southward instead. 12 cranes flushed and were
reported by a local familiar with the species from the same general
area in September.
