Good evening Tweets,
Had an interesting walk around Green Lake today just before dark; in addition to the usual coots, gadwalls, mallards, etc, there was a Horned Grebe along the northeast side of the lake, a Western Grebe at the southeast side of the lake, and a Green Heron in an overhanging (the water) alder along the southern part of the southeast part of the lake. In addition, quite subjectively, there were more Pied-billed Grebes than I am accustomed to seeing - perhaps 12-15 in various locations along the northeast side of the lake.
