The Cackling Geese are back in large numbers making for a spectacular show. There are also large numbers of American Wigeons, Green-winged Teal, Northern Pintails and Mallards. In the field I found American Pipits, Killdeers and some peeps that I think are Dunlins, but I am not sure. Their beaks were down turned a bit.
?
This a good spot to look for Eurasian Wigeons. I imagine it could also produce Eurasian Teals, easily hidden in the mobs.
?
For raptors I saw a pair of Red-tailed Hawks, a Cooper's Hawk and a one female Northern Harrier.
