After seeing the Black-Tailed Gull earlier today, my wife and I were
visiting my son in Ballard this afternoon. After seeing many reports of
WESTERN SCRUB JAYS in Ballard, I finally spotted one on the corner of 61st
Street and 11th Avenue. I thought that I had briefly seen one earlier
,flying across the street, when we were coming into that neighborhood today.
I had been unsuccessful trying to find one in Olympia and Tacoma all year
and needed one for my yearly state list.
