Just a quick post to add a few species to Ruth Sullivan's Audubon field trip list from yesterday.? In addition to the Hoquiam STP TROPICAL KINGBIRD that she mentioned in her post, we also saw the CHESTNUT-COLLARED LONGSPUR, the ORCHARD ORIOLE (both lifers for me), and either 2 CLAY-COLORED SPARROWS or the same one twice, once in the morning and once in the evening when we returned for the kingbird.? As usual, thanks to all of you who have continued to post on these species.? In addition, we spotted a NORTHERN SHRIKE by the rotting but exciting to walk on boardwalk near the Ocean Shores marina.? It was a great trip with a very fun group of people.
