Subject: [Tweeters] Blue phase snow geese at the Skagit

It is interesting. that blue phase Snow Geese are so rare out here. I used
to live in Maryland and the Snow Goose flocks there always had a large
percentage of "Blue Geese", maybe 30 - 40 %. It is my understanding ,that
this is a Canadian breeding population and considered a subspecies of Lesser
Snow Goose, while our Siberian friends at the Skagit are considered
"Greater". Please correct me, if i am wrong!
