Hello, A HEERMAN'S GULL has been at the north end of Capitol Lake in Olympia for much of the afternoon. It was out in the center of the lake loafing with Glaucous-wings and the like.
A male EURASIAN WIGEON and an apparent hybrid EURASIAN x AMERICAN WIGEON were in the dabbler flock at the lake's south end. Some CANVASBACK were nice to see, as they are not found there as frequently as in past years.
