Hello, For those interested in poor photos of common birds "out of place", I have placed a few "record shots" on my website of some of the notable Thurston County birds which have graced Capitol Lake over the past several days.

The bird reported yesterday by Matthew Pike as a good candidate for CLARK'S GREBE (he was without spotting scope) was again present today. Besides a rather thick neck stripe (don't know how pertinent this is), to my eye it looked pretty much like a Clark's Grebe.
A male EURASIAN WIGEON and 2 male hybrids were apparent today amongst the swarming waterfowl.
