Hello Tweeters.
I meet Shep today little after 12,00 Am to going again on his boat ,trying
for some flight photos. The Gull was already picked out by most birders,so I
am guessing that all the birder had a good look on this fantastic Gull,We
was 6 birders on the boat.most of all I knew ,but I met Sheps Father who was
here from California , He told me that it is always special to visiting with
Shep his Son,and than seeing this Rare Gull.Today was my lucky Day to get
the 4 flight photos. This bird seems to be tired probable already feeding
early in the morning.I had a little help from Greg setting my camera for a
white bird what probable helped to get this shots.Every one was so happy to
seeing this bird so close, the one thing what probable was not so good we had
wind, with rough waters. This is probable why this Gull roosted and did not
want to flying.Thank you Shep to bee so gracious,to taken birders out to get
a better look
This was one great morning,Greg was the one who photographed the Western
race of American Tree Sparrow, who I saw many in Eastern Washington on CBC,
but I wanted to see the different in plumage. So we drove to Marymoore Park
where the bird original was found by Michael Hobbs on Wednesday.
On the spot where Greg had this bird people drove here small Model Cars, and
there made so much noise. He mention that we might not seeing this bird
,since it was in the vicinity. As we looked we saw the American Tree
Sparrow deep in the bramble with White C..& Juvenile Golden C. Sparrows
flying around .I was again lucky since Greg know this bird behavior and his
routine.I talked briefly with the 2 person who was playing with this model
cars.He ask what we looking for,and I replied that this bird was importuned
to seeing this bird,OK there got quite for us to find this bird with also
taken photos of this bird. Greg was so fast with only spotted this bird with
his Eyes, reminded me so much on Patrick,Greg is fast with his eyes and
working the camera fast to ,amazing since he only birdied a little over a
year,So I was fortune to getting about
on 25 fairly good photos. It Was great day of birdying, meeting with all the
birders. There was a couple of birders from California on the Black-tailed
Gull spot ,she told me that Patrick and I helped finding the REDWING in
Olympia in April 2005,Who was discover on December 2004
