You have a couple of Red-tailed Hawks. The light throats and faint barring on the tail indicate juveniles.

Subject: [Tweeters] Need help with Raptor ID




Hello,

We saw a very high flying raptor over Sun Mountain near Winthrop last week and could not figure out what it was. I have put up the two best shots I got of it at:

I'd appreciate anyone who had the time to look and give me some idea what this bird is.
