Hello Tweeters,
I located the Western Screech Owl at Juanita Bay Park on Tuesday about 4 PM. It was very well hidden and only by following Ryan's excellent directions to the letter, was I able to find it. Along with Andy and Bob, I watched it for about 15 minutes and did not see much beyond some head movement. Great find by Ryan because this bird was almost impossible to see.

Ryan's directions:

Today there is a roosting Western Screech-Owl at Juanita Bay Park. To see
it walk out the middle boardwalk (easternmost of the two) and follow it as
it turns to the left. The owl is up to the left about five posts before the
next turn to the right, to the right of the large weeping willow. There are
quite a few branches in front of it and it somewhat resembles a wasp nest
until you look closely.
