This morning had good activity at Washtucna. Huge movement of Warbling Vireo and Wilson's Warbler. Among the more notables were a hatch year Least Flycatcher, a Red-eyed Vireo and an American Redstart. While conclusive looks weren't obtained there was likey a Blue-winged Warbler in a quick movement of birds shortly after sunrise this morning. I only got about a two second glimpse of the birds in the trees before it flew over me calling moving south. The brief look in the high trees and the profile (including the undertail) was ceetainly suggestive, but it will have to go as one that got away. Attempts to relocate the bird over the next hour proved fruitless. Here's hoping that the movement continues for tomorrow's WOS trip.
