I just got back from a visit to relatives in Olive Branch, MS and points south and here is a list of the birds I saw just casually birding from the car and my relatives' homes.

Great Blue Heron (confused me. Looks different from ours)
Great Egret (hundreds)
Black Vulture
Turkey Vulture
Red Tailed Hawk
Mourning Dove
Barred Owl
Ruby-throated Hummingbird (hundreds)
Tufted Titmouse (lifebird)
Carolina Chickadee (lifeibrd)
American Robin
Blue Jay
Northern Cardinal (hundreds all eating from my Uncle's feeders)
Northern Mockingbird
Common Grackle (lifebird)

Possible:
Fish Crow
