...haven't seen anyone post this yet so...

On Friday morning at about 8am, I arrived at the Alder/Cottonwood grove where Connie Sidles has been reporting mixed flocks. I found Phyllis (last name?) already there observing the activity - and there was a great deal of activity! Phyllis noted observing Orange-crowned Warblers, Yellow Warblers and Warbling Vireos. I joined in the fun as it rained Warbling Vireos - they were everywhere! Often two perched side by side.

Shortly after I arrived, Connie Sidles and Jeff (?) and several other birders arrived. We also enjoyed looks at Black-throated Gray Warbler (magnificent male) and Willow Flycatcher. I heard a Pacific-slope Flycatcher but did not see it.

Happy birding!
