hi tweeters- on sept.3 . i saw 7 BAIRD'S S/P on the tulalip spit-- took
my camera+ of course none? there on sept4--? large # of BLACK-BELLIED
PLOVERS like more than 100 out on the spit -usually that attract other
shorebirds -SHORT-BILLED DOWICHES -6 on sept.3/ none yesterday--3 SPOTTED
S/P on the outer beach? on sept .3 -i have seen 1-4 daily for the last
1/2 of august--sept 4- the large flock of mixed WESTERN + LEAST s/p in
the mud infront of our house east end of tulalip bay- was chased by a
very dark morph MERLIN--ther are still 3 OPREYS near their nest poles--2
juveniles--only? 1 CASPIAN TERN on sept4-cheers , maxine reid--tulalip
