Hi Tweets,

A Baird's Sandpiper and Lesser Yellowlegs reappeared around 9 a.m.
today at Edmonds Marsh. They were feeding in the mud flat that can
be seen from the pathway adjacent to the Harbor Square tennis
courts. Same place where they were yesterday. Also present was a
mixed flock of Western and Least Sandpipers. One Dowitcher, a
probable Long-billed although it was silent, was also moving around
the Marsh. An Osprey flew over the Marsh and a couple of Yellow
Warblers and a Wilson's Warbler were feeding in a tree near the
tennis courts. There were a few more American Wigeons today among
the ducks. The Northern Shoveler was also present but by its bright
yellow eyes, it is a drake in eclipse, not a hen as I reported
yesterday. Back to Ducks 101 for me.

Good birding,

Carol Riddell
