We tried to get a picture of the owl a JBP but I failed miserably!? So we took a trip up the Snoqualmie Valley to Monroe.? At the old honor farm pond we spotted a Great Egret walking up and down the ditch on the north side of the pond.? There were other little ? waders at the pond but you would have to have better eyes than I do to ID them.? Just to justify my taking the camera out I took a picture of the egret - which turned out much better than the owl.? One would think that I could take a picture of something 10 feet in front it me - nope.? But at 100 yards it turned out okay!? I think I'll give the owl another try tomorrow morning.? Who know - maybe the sora will make an appearance.
