Read Kevin's post with interest, as I too had a Seattle W. SCRUB-JAY encounter very early this morn. Like his, my jay was going treetop-to-treetop. Also like Kevin's pair, it had company--a late RUFOUS HUMMINGBIRD buzzed it before flying off. These were at the corner of Gilman and Fort Street in the n.e. section of Magnolia, just above the train tracks. This was the first of either I'd seen at this spot.
