And the Western Scrub-Jay fun continues.
Yesterday, 6pm or so, we spotted one Jay hopping from power line to chimney to treetop, and so on, near NW 80th and 9th nw.
What great fun - this was a first for us here in Seattle.

A single Western Scrub Jay was heard at 5:20pm in the same location
(close to the Thomas St P-Patch). I guess they must be commuting.
Nothing all year then twice in one day (at least when I was around to
hear them).
