In between a wedding ceremony in Tokeland and the reception dinner I was able to dip out and hit the marina. Among the 940 or so Marbled Godwits that I "counted" I found my 576th North American lifer. There were two very light Marbleds that warranted some time spent, until I found the Bar-tailed, and was able to spend some time, and got to see it fly. This was at about 1830, 1.5 hours before the high tide. Quite a sight to see so many Godwits in the scope. Didn't have time to bird anywhere else in the area. Happy birding,
