Tweeters:
Spotted two very late E. KINGBIRDS yesterday early along the s.w. shore of Ebey I. and just south (almost right below the Hwy 2 trestle) while fishing for pinks in the Snohomish R. aboard the little boat. One bird flew across the river to the west side; these are the latest I've ever had in wWA.
Also of interest was a female YELLOW-HEADED BLACKBIRD in a group of blackbirds and cowbirds at the Wylie Rd x Mann Rd intersection. Had no luck with any of the recent grasspipers reported in the area. The Skagit WMA has now been flooded, the new saline ponds did attract a mixed flock of Greater and Lesser Y, plus a SB Dowitcher.
