Last night on the beaches around the lighthouse were: 82 Sanderlings, 11 Caspian Terns, about 20 Bonaparte's Gulls flycatching and what looked suspiciously like 2 Collared Doves but did not get a close look at them. They ducked behind some trees, round the lighthouse and off to the island of George Gerdts. DH
