Hi Tweeters,

My friend, Ann Nightingale, is the Director of and owl bander at Rocky Point
Bird Observatory in southern Vancouver Island. She banded 6 Northern
Saw-whet Owls on Tuesday night-Wednesday morning and five more last night.

A little out of range but they are on their way to Washington State so
birders on the Olympic Peninsula should start looking for an influx of
Northern Saw-whet Owls!
Keep your eyes and ears, uh, everywhere..........

Jim
