Sorry for the late report, on September 17 we had two Pomarine Jaegers, ~15 Pink-footed Shearwaters, and ~150 Sooty Shearwaters mixed in with a large flock of Common Murres and various gulls about two miles NW of Dungeness Spit. We were on the water eight days between 9 September -18 September and had numerous Sooty Shearwaters (and hundreds of Red-necked Phalaropes) over that period in the eastern Juan de Fuca Strait and southern Haro Strait, but this was the largest group of shearwaters encountered.
