There was a kettle of Turkey Vultures over Lake City in NE Seattle, specifically above the McDonald's at 145th and Lake City Way, around 2pm today. There were at least 16, but certainly more because I could see other circling birds to the south which were assuredly more Turkey Vultures, part of the same loose flock. I only had my car glove compartment bins with me which were useful only for the near birds. I've never seen so many Turkey Vultures in Seattle.
