Yesterday afternoon I saw the first Golden-crowned Sparrow of the year in the yard. It was hanging out with a remaining White-crowned. Other than those and a few finches and chickadees, things are really slow in the yard right now.
Seems like this year has been a little slow everywhere. When I have gotten out it's been sparse. I have a few bird photos in my current folder on pbase from the entire summer along with the dragonflies I chase along with. Also some landscape from a recent Palouse trip.
If I can prod myself to get out maybe Fall will be more productive.
