Hi,

Yesterday afternoon Jim Flynn and I found 3 Pacific Golden Plovers at Midway Beach. Also 4 Whimbrel and a Pectoral Sandpiper. No sign of any Snowy Plovers. A merlin made a brief attack on some American Pipits.

At Tokeland Marina the Bar-tailed Godwit was obvious amongst approximately 600 Marbled Godwits.

Earlier in the day at the jetty at Ocean Shores saw a couple of Wondering Tatlers and a few Black Turnstones fairly close in. We could not locate the female Queen Eider in the flocks of Scoter north of Damon Point.

Cheers and goodbirding
