Tweets - I passed through Grant, Franklin, and Adams counties on Thursday
and Friday on my way to Missoula. Nothing too dramatic was seen, partly
because I didn't have much time to bird.
Highlights:
At the county line ponds, Grant County, in Thursday:
1 OSPREY
The ponds were COMPLETELY EMPTY of birds except for 3 killdeer.
At Scootney Reservoir, Thursday night and early Friday morning, I had:

1 Great Egret
Barn Owl (s?) heard all night
Jupiter and its moons, and lots of stars
At Hatton Coolee Rest Area:
Lesser Yellowlegs
1 Baird's Sandpiper
1 Western Sandpiper
About a dozen Long-billed Dowitchers
Lots of American Pipits
At Washtucna:
A gazillion Yellow-rumped Warblers
1 Hermit Thrush
3 Ruby-crowned Kinglets
