Hey tweets, the Buffleheads are back!! Hurrah. Three females were
swimming in the lake south of the Fill just now. Also back: Golden-
crowned Sparrows, lots of Lincoln's, large numbers of Yellow-rumps, a
Long-billed Dowitcher on the Main Pond (been here for 3 days),
Wilson's Snipes in fresh plumage. Fall is in the air, on the water,
and on the ground. The breeze is like wine, and it is beautiful out
