Tweeters,

This past Friday, my tour group of twelve and I came across a Northern Mockingbird at the Swauk-Teanaway Grange east of Cle Elum, feeding in the chokecherry bushes that line the driveway. That's out Ballard Hill Rd. east of Cle Elum. A flock of 10-12 Bushtits - pretty unusual for the east slope - were along the road at the so-called Railroad Ponds of South Cle Elum, perhaps 1/4 mile from where you turn off the road to access the ponds on the narrow one-way road.

Good birding, Bob
