Dear Tweeters.

Thursday afternoon after 5:00 PM. I witnessed a flock of 50 ( I
counted them all sitting in the YMS parking lot - large predatory type
birds) packing a straight line headed South of Yelm. It was very
strange to see so many in one spot flying South of Yelm's main Hwy.
I was in the parking lot waiting at the time and was able to count
them all. It made me wonder what the heck was going on... :) I
thought that they might be juv. Eagles, as I have not seen any Turkey
Vultures in Washington, yet, or in Thurston County for that matter.
(I have had the displeasure of being buzzed by a "buzzard" up close,
though. It is frightening to have one swoop down towards YOU. I
don't recommend it!)
