Today between 11:42 and 12:44 I watched as 27 Turkey Vultures (singles
and groups of 5, 7) flew southward, passing over Totten Inlet at Burns
Point. Some soared directly southward at a relatively constant altitude
(300 - 500 feet) whereas others were able to find updrafts and ascend to
about 1000 feet.
