Hi everyone,



Driving back to the house around noon today after a walk at Three Forks, I fortunately noticed a 'not-the-usual-suspects' silhouette in a tree by the road.? It was a TOWNSEND'S SOLITAIRE, always a nice bird to see come through the area.? I have only 11 records of this species in our neighborhood in the five years I've been keeping detailed records, and eight of those 11 are from April (one on March 1st, two around Christmas - and the two in December were back-to-back days, so probably the same bird).? All but today's April records are in the second half of April.?
