Hi tweets'



Seeing the grosbeak yesterday was a thrill for Wendy and me, but the really
satisfying glow I feel today is from witnessing the rich habitat that Vicki
and her husband have created in their back yard. The plants, mostly natives
that they have chosen, planted, and lovingly tended make it a huge magnet
for birds. If you can, go to see the

Grosbeak, a gorgeous bird, but also take a close look at the habitat. It is
inspiring! We can't halt worldwide destruction of habitat. Population
pressure is too strong, but we can improve what we have control over.
Thanks to Vicki and everyone who plants native vege in their yards.

I have decided he is sticking around for a while, so I will only post IF he
does not show up. This morning the Siskins were trying to get him off the
feeder, but he ignored them, very politely of course.
