Hi all,

Here are my recent videos from 3/27. I am still experimenting with hosting sights for videos that don't degrade the quality. Vimeo.com (a paid site) is not as good as I would like to be.

You can watch in HD by clicking on the 360p icon towards the lower right hand corner of your screen to SELECT 720p or 1080p. This function is to the right of the speaker symbol. This will give you better resolution and quality. Selecting 480p is fine, too!!

Turn up your VOLUME to hear the DUSKY GROUSE hoots.

The GREAT GRAY OWL was eventually successful at getting a squirrel in a patch of sagebrush. Unfortunately it was behind private property for me to record this segment. A minute later after thumping on his prey, he came up and flew about 5 feet towards me with prey in claws and disappeared like a ghost in the forest. Such forest phantoms!

Mr. Bowtie displays an amazing landing in one of the video! Notice the top of the tree barely bowing down as it lands.

The shaking is due to me being excited as I almost swoon everytime I see a Great Gray. A monopod would help, too. Nevertheless, I hope you enjoy!
