Female Rough-legged Hawk, hotly pursued by several Crows, soared over our house around 1000 yesterday -- another first for our yard and expanding our raptor list to 10 species -- Bald Eagle, Harrier, Sharpie, Cooper's, Red-tail, RL, Osprey, Kestrel, Merlin and Peregrine (11 if you count W. Screech Owl).
