Tweeters,

I have to agree with Hans, Steller did lead a fascinating life. I strongly
recommend the book

Steller's Island: Adventures of a Pioneer Naturalist in Alaska, by Dean
Littlepage, from The Mountaineers Books.

Tweeters,

Not to be picky, but I see the name of George Wilhelm Steller commonly

misspelled on Tweeters. Here is what you find on Wikipedia: [links omitted]

His life history is rather fascinating and he had a few birds and mammals

named after him, not only the Steller's Jay.
