I have spent a fair amount of time at the fill recently and managed to get
some decent images of some of the birds there. In particular I was thrilled
to finally get a Virginia rail in the open long enough for a few shots.
Also, I have been concentrating on action and flight images. Probably the
most challenging undertaking is photographing swallows in flight. I managed
to get one good image of a tree swallow doing just that. If interested check
