Hello All,

I've been watching for the Osprey returns as I drive to work along 599.
Before any of the Osprey returned, I noticed that an Eagle was taking up
residence at the Hamm Creek nest. One day, we hiked out there to confirm it.
Yesterday morning, there seemed to be an Eagle and another slightly smaller
Osprey-sized bird on the Hamm Creek nest. Another Osprey perched on the
nest near the Post Office headquarters. As I drove home yesterday, the Post
Office Osprey remained, and it seemed that an Osprey was the only bird on
the Hamm Creek nest at the end of the day. Has anyone been watching this?
The Hamm Creek nest is such a long standing Osprey nest site. I do hope
that the Eagle will make other plans.
