It has been brought to my attention by a fellow birder, that I am holding out on good news for county listers. We have been having daily visits from a White-headed Woodpecker to our suet feeders on Badger Mountain 20 miles northeast of East Wenatchee. This is the first time this?species has been recorded in?Douglas?County. Last week we were delighted when?a female show up. We are hoping the birds will breed.
