I heard an owl last night on the bank of the Cowlitz River in Lewis
County that sounded like an Eastern Screech-Owl. It sounded just like
every recording I've ever heard of an Eastern Screech-Owl. If I were
in Ohio, I'd have no doubt.

Is it possible a Western Screech-Owl could hoot like an Eastern?
