Subject: [Tweeters] Osprey among the eagles and waterfowl at Chambers Bay

Bailed out of a planned birding trip to the coast, due to horrible
construction traffic on I-5 southbound this morning, so we cut back toward
Tacoma through Steilacoom, with some birding at the end of Chambers Creek
and along Chambers Bay. At the head of the bay we spotted our first Osprey
of the season, trying to fish among the seven or more Bald Eagles who were
working the area around the spillway.

Nice birding weather in the protected area along the small bay, but it sure
is cool and windy in any exposed areas.
