Hi, Tweets

Bill and I headed for Snoqualmie Falls this afternoon to check on the peregrines. Unfortunately it was much more crowded than usual with aide cars and mountain rescue vehicles. Seems a young man had jumped off the big cliff just to the west of the lodge. Many of the pathways were taped off. They got the body up around 3pm+. Kind of sad with all the tourists taking photos (of the falls and themselves) and then trying to see what the rescuers were doing.

The falcon was on her eggs (chicks?) and was easy to see on such a bright day. I haven't heard whether the eggs had hatched or not. We couldn't spot the mail anywhere nearby.

I mustn't forget - I saw five turkey vultures along Hwy.203!!

Cheers, Diann
