Subject: [Tweeters] Columbia County White-throated Sparrows

Tina and I worked on our Columbia County list today. The best bird was a pair of WHITE-THROATED SPARROWS, previously reported by Gary Bletsch, in the Lewis and Clark SP campground behind the wooden toilets. They were calling and sticking close to each other -- breeding???
We also had a TURKEY VULTURE on the east edge of Dayton and a WINTER WREN near Lewis Creek on the road to the Bluewood Ski Area.
Good Birding!
