Hi All,
Anne Kahle and I just returned from a three day swing through north central
Washington where our best find was a LOGGERHEAD SHRIKE (code 5 bird) on
Swawilla Basin Road in the big sagebrush stand. I failed to check the
odometer but this may be 10-12 miles west of the Keller Ferry. We saw this
bird around 9AM today(4/11/10).Saturday morning there were 31 males and 3
females on the Leahy GREATER SAGE-GROUSE lek in Douglas County.
