Hello group,

The past weekend, I had the pleasure of watching the two young GRHO owls fly. One was branching and calling, the other freely flying and calling, but staying within a few hundred feet of the nesting tree. They seem to be about a week apart in development. Last year, both seemed to display developmental skills at very close to the same times, including branching and later, moving into a different area of the WF on the same evenings. If last year's activities are a guide, they should be leaving the nesting area soon.
