Or perhaps?I should say an unusual variation of what I jokingly call our city bird.??I was?at Marina Beach photographing some of our local eagles on?the bluff?south of the off leash dog?beach when I thought I saw a hawk fly by and?land in a tree in?the park.? As I walked?toward?the tree for some shots, the?"hawk" began to?caw.?? What I thought was a hawk?appeared be an albino crow, except that its eyes were of normal color.??

I know there is a special name for this?genetic condition, but I cannot recall it.??? I believe it starts with an "L", something like "lucytic".?? My friend and fellow bird photographer Melissa pulled up and got some photos of it as well.

?I saw a similar Canadian goose last Christmas at the Ridgefiled NWR.?????
