I had about an hour to spend at the Fill this morning. The most interesting sighting was two AMERICAN PIPITS feeding along the south shore of Shoveler Pond. Among the many duck species were two CINNAMON TEAL sleeping. There must have been at least 30-40 turtles sunning themselves on logs. Saw a number of GREEN-WINGED TEAL, but no Common Teal.
