Friday about 2 pm, I was at the High School walking between the
maintenance garage and the woodshop when four Tree Swallows and 6 (what
I think were) Northern Rough-winged Swallows came swooping and calling
through the area as they do when their nests are endangered. I stood
still and most of them flew away althogh two of the Tree Swallows
perched on a board just under the eaves of the garage. I retreated, but
about an hour later, I was through there again, and there were no birds
visible, so I checked under the eaves, for nests, but could see none
there nor anywhere else in the area.
